Having Four Left Feet

Mr. Marty always seems to get under foot whenever Momma is working on a deadline. He did that again this morning when Momma was trying to key information into the computer. It was past his usual feeding time, so he hopped onto the desk and walked all over the keyboard and plopped his sweet self down. He occasionally does this and, as a result, Momma has to restart the computer in order to get the cursor to work again. It drive Momma nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy did Mr. Marty get yelled at for doing that this morning. However, it worked. While Momma was waiting for the computer to restart, she came downstairs and fed the three of us. I have to say that all of us kitties benefitted from his antics. He took the heat but doesn't seem the worse for wear. How could anyone resist that face?

Updating Indy Goils

It's been quite a while since us Indy goils have updated our blog. Lots has changed in the last few years. Sadly, Momma lost her Julia, the Prolific Writer, almost two years ago. As Kitty Katie, I've taken over the responsibility of keeping this blog up.

Momma has added a new brother and sister to our brood. I would like to introduce you to Mr. Marty and Joy Joy. Momma got what I lovingly refer to as The Little Rascals (Mr. Marty and Joy Joy) one week after we lost Momma's Beautiful Julia. Mr.  Marty is a handsome, strapping long-haired gray boy with striking emerald green eyes and his sister, Joy Joy, is a gray Tortie, according to how the vet classifies her. She's got beautiful gold eyes. If I had a rock band, I would call it Katie and The Little Rascals. However, these days, the new additions to the family are bigger than me. I'm around 12 lbs. and Joy Joy is 13 lbs. and Mr. Marty is 14 lbs.

So, now, it would be more appropriate to label our blog, Indy Goils and a Boy. Brother and sis were born on February 15, 2013 and Momma brought them home when they were 2.5 months old.

Boy, were Momma and I in for a shock. The youngest Momma had ever acquired a kitty prior to The Little Rascals was at 6 months old. Getting 2.5-month old kitties was quite an adjustment on our entire household.

I look forward to sharing more about our recent escapades and include pics of The Little Rascals and an updated pic of me in future blogs. Just wanted to let my followers know that I'll be back to posting what we're up to, so stay tuned.
