Welcome to my world and that of my little sister, Katie. We live in Indianapolis with our Momma. Momma went to the Southside Shelter in Indianapolis in 2002 to get an orange long-haired kitty when, instead, she got me!
Momma had no idea how ill I was. She acquired me on a Saturday morning and took me to the vet for a checkup the following Monday. In-between, despite Momma putting people canned salmon in front of me to entice me to eat, I only took a bite. A bite! Today, I would snarf down people canned salmon. Anyway, back then, the vet prescribed canned food that Momma had to put on the tip of her finger to coax me to eat. Momma literally nursed me back to good health. Now, I'm a robust 13 lb. kitty who's shy when visitors come by but love hanging around with my Momma and sort of like hanging out with my little sis. Momma refers to me as sticking to her like velcro.
In future blogs, I like to tell you about how we entertain our Momma while she works and the cute antics we pull on a regular basis.
